Terms & Conditions
Rentals commence at 2PM on the date of arrival and terminate not later than 10AM on departure day. Arrangements can be made for baggage drop off upon arrival if prior to 2PM. Arrivals after 8PM may be billed an additional 30 Euros. For special check in /out times, arrangements can be made directly with our Management staff, we will submit a request for you. Though final cleaning sessions are scheduled for each stay, guests are expected to leave the apartment in a similar condition as when they arrive. Please dispose of trash, clean dishes, leaving dirty towels in a pile on the bathroom floor or bathtub.
If the apartment is left unusually dirty and not left in a reasonable state, we reserve to bill your credit card. Extra cleaning during a stay may be pre-arranged at a cost of 35 Euros per hour, with a two-hour [€70] minimum charge.
Occupancy is limited to a maximum of four people, except Le Trésor de Mozart [maximum 3]. Exceeding this limit will result in immediate eviction without compensation.
We ask that you purchase inexpensive loss of rent payment coverage and, the damage insurance, which also covers you for cancellation fees.
We realize that things do happen, please just alert us to any damage or breakage [however small] in consideration for the next tenant. If the damage is significant please photograph the item and report to us immediately so we can initiate a claim.
If travel is prevented due to Covid resitrictions or if you, or a member of your party, have contracted the virus [Dr’s letter required] then the normal cancellation rules will be overriden and a full refund will be given less any CC charges, if the cancellation is more than 7 days before arrival. Alternatively, funds paid can be applied to a future reservation subject to availability and curent daily rate difference. Other wise our standard conditions below, apply.
In the event of cancellation, we will refund the rental fee paid, as follows:
1. 100% of monies paid, if cancelled more than 60 days prior to the Check-in date, less a 100€ change fee
2. 50% of the total rental fee paid if the cancellation is notified more than 30 days before the start of rental period, less a 100€ change fee; and
3. No refund if cancellation is notified during the 30 days before the start of rental period unless the property is re-rented.
Any days re-rented will be credited on a pro-rate basis less €100 change fee.
If, through circumstances beyond our control, it is necessary for us to cancel (which would be absolutely exceptional) then we will refund the initial deposit and any other monies paid, without interest or further compensation. We accept no responsibility whatsoever, and no payment or other compensation will be payable, if cancellation or changes to the terms of booking are brought about, or become necessary, due to war or threat of war, riot, civil commotion, terrorist act, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions or nuclear incident or any other matter out of our control. In addition, we will not be responsible for closure or congestion of airports, technical problems with transportation or cancellation or schedule changes by carriers whether scheduled or charter.
**We strongly recommend that you consider flight cancellation insurance to cover your investment. We can recommend insurers.*
Utilities, telephone (local and International – not to mobiles except France/US/Canada) and WIFI are included in rental rate.
Keys- VERY IMPORTANT
When you close the door it is locked, so it is critical that you always have a key in your hand when you leave AND that you double lock the door.
If you are locked out we will make every effort to get you back in as soon as possible. However, our representative may not be immediately available or close-by so it is essential that you text him with the location where you are waiting [not outside the apartment door]. Apartment keys are very expensive (approx €150 per key). If you lose or misplace a key or lock yourself out, it will be your responsibility to pay for the cost of replacement(s) and/or the time taken for our representative to solve the problem [minimum €50]. If we are required to change the lock, the prices range from €600-1000, the renter shall pay all costs.
Our apartments are strictly NON SMOKING , including e-cigarettes and NO PETS are allowed! €250 will be charged if extra cleaning is required due to smoking.
Rental of the apartment shall be strictly for personal use and not for business or professional use.
BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS:
Bookings are only confirmed once the designated deposit is received. Following initial payment, whether full payment or deposit, Paris Nice Vacations will notify client in writing in the form of reservation confirmation e-mail. Upon confirmation of receipt of payments, whether initial or final, no payments are refundable unless a minimum of 30 days notice prior to arrival date is given.
Any cancellation received within 30 days prior to your arrival, will result in the forfeit of your payment unless the property is re-rented. Any days re-rented will be credited on a pro-rata basis less a €100 change fee.
All cancellation requests must be received and acknowledged by e-mail. If the confirmed accommodations should be unavailable for any reason beyond the control of PNV, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative property of equal or higher value. Should alternative property be unavailable, the liability of PNV shall cease upon agreement to return to the client all monies paid by client to PNV.
Clients are required to act in a responsible manner at all times. The client is responsible for ensuring that the property is left upon departure in the same general condition and repair as upon arrival. PNV reserves the right to recover from clients the cost of any loss or damage caused by a failure to respect the property, fixtures, or fittings.
It is important that clients realize they are living in apartment surrounded by regular residents. As such, please conduct yourselves accordingly. Avoid loud noise or music, keep any common area tidy and please respect other tenants in building, this is particularly important if leaving before 6 am.
OWNER/Paris-Nice Vacations LIABILITY:
Renters must exercise reasonable caution appropriate for visiting any new locales in a foreign country. The liability of the owners, PNV or its agents shall be limited to the amount of any rentals and deposits paid. In no event shall the owners, PNV or its agents be liable for consequential damages or loss or damage of renters personal property. Any problems that occur during tenancy should first be reported to the designated local representative. Should a problem persist or be unsatisfactorily resolved from tenants’ viewpoint, such problem should then be reported immediately, if possible, and under any circumstances, no later than within 72 hours to PNV. Tenant must also follow up all such complaints with written details to PNV.
Every effort is undertaken to see that the properties are properly maintained, clean, equipped, and functional, bearing in mind the differences in standards one country from another. Supplementary services can be provided on request at extra cost, but clients should not expect hotel services, this is a private home.
PNV believes that the property is safe for occupancy. However, PNV makes no warranty of habitability or safety.
This agreement shall be interpreted according to the laws of Texas, USA.
This agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties, and shall not be modified, except in writing.
We agree that in the event of a dispute between us, we shall first try to resolve it by mandatory mediation. Upon our failure to reach agreement by mediation, we agree to binding arbitration, with the losing party to bear the costs of arbitration.
The network may not be used:
• To distribute, consult and/or download spam, viruses or illegal software.
• To provide access to yourself and/or others to networks, computers, information or (peripheral) equipment that is not intended for public use.
• For conduct that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, intimidating, fraudulent, harassing or annoying.
• No attempts may be made to gain access to unauthorized services, user accounts or computer systems in any way.
• The network should always be used in such a way that this use causes no conflict with national legislation and regulations.
Sending information (including e-mail communications) via the network is not secured and may be subject to loss, interception and/or alterations to the information. Users are advised to at least use an antivirus program and a firewall. Users are also advised to use a VPN connection if the user intends to send confidential or sensitive information via the internet or connect to a company network.
On behalf of the above-named persons, and myself I wish to contract for the accommodation(s) requested, and I agree that this booking is subject to the General Policies and Conditions included in this form. I am authorized to agree to these conditions on my own behalf and on behalf of the persons in my party. I have or will pay a deposit for the period requested. I agree the balance of the rental fee, security deposit and service fees are payable under the conditions described within this document.
Payment of a deposit for the rental is taken as agreeing to these terms
